Wow!! One of the best sounding albums in my modest collection! A telltale sign of great mastering is the fact that as you crank the volume the sound gets better without distortion or ear-splitting shrillness. Thumping bass balanced with aggressive guitars. Seems this is the only all-analogue pressing as the original master tapes were destroyed in a fire. Look for the Masterdisk stamp in the dead wax. No surprise this sounds so good; mastered by the legendary Robert Ludwig! Play this loudly!! You need this one. Really, this is “holy shit” fidelity that’s just a monster!
